Me Me Me
I am a designer and musician living in Glasgow’s Southside. I was born in London, but lived in Belgium and Kenya before settling in Glasgow. My work is split between design commissions and making prints of my illustrations.
I have created branding and packaging for some of Scotland’s favourite artisanal foodies, such as La Gelatessa, The Golden Bottom Bakery and Croque. This work, where I live, and my interest in mid-century advertising inspire my print designs.
My style draws on my love of art found on vintage matchbox labels, postage stamps and beermats. The bold lettering, colours and texture of these things can be found in many of my prints.

Musician
I used to be a guitar player, writing songs, playing in original bands and recording sessions. I fell out of love with playing music, and didn’t play for many years, but now I play and record music just for fun.
I am also a guitar and amp geek. I like to repair guitars and modify amps.
Battle Penguin is a tune I wrote many years ago, but only got around to recording in 2026. The video is me fooling around in a local park dressed as a penguin. Idiot.
Designer
Throughout all of the things I’ve done, design always featured. I enjoyed making gig flyers, album artwork and magazine adverts for the guitar shops I worked in.
When I moved to Glasgow I began studying graphic design formally but it wasn't for me. I started to receive commissions while studying so I left early to take on paid work as a freelance designer. I feel very lucky to have been able to do that.

Every summer in Pollokshields, Glasgow, local shops sell delicious honey Mangoes. Some pop-up shops appear solely to sell boxes of this cherished golden fruit. It's a small window of time where everything is right with the world, feuding neighbours set aside their differences, lost cats return home, and fireworks go bang at socially acceptable volumes.
I wanted to celebrate this with an illustration, that reflects some of the excitement felt by locals (really).
This is a Giclée print made using specialist archival pigment inks on museum grade 300gsm cotton rag paper for a deluxe feel, excellent depth of colour, longevity and stability.
Sold unframed. It works well in regular, widely available A-size frames without the need for a mount.

Glasgow is 850 years old this year, so I wondered what some celebratory postage stamps might look like. It's a playful take, illustrated in a mid-century style, with the colours and texture of old stamps. This is a set of postage stamp style illustrations of some of Glagsow's icons:

I designed this set of coasters after one of many visits to the Laurieston Bar in Glasgow. It’s inspired by the Laurieston Bar, its signage and its surroundings.
There’s the pub, the Subway, O2 Academy and McGhee’s pies, all illustrated in a mid-century style in keeping with the pub itself.
They're approximately 9cm square, they're about 4mm thick with a high gloss finish and a cork back.
They come in a hessian bag which is good for gifting or for taking them down to the pub with you :)

My design is inspired by the signs you might find at a traditional fish shop or an old greasy spoon cafe.
